In the fashion world, when the new colors of the season are released, there is a lot of talk about WHY those colors are chosen, with lots of touchy-feely words to go along with it. Peach Echo has a very “accessible” feel, Iced Coffee is reflective of nature’s inspiration…you get the idea. And while we appreciate the background, really, we just want to find some new things to help you update your wardrobe for the season that will make you look and feel great.
This little
recap shows you all the colors of the season at a glance (and they’re the same for Gents as they are for Ladies this year).
The colors fall into 3 general camps:
1. Bold: Colors in bold buttercup yellow, vibrant green, and coral tinted reds say that warm weather is here, and have a playful air to them that feels just right for gents.
2. Soft and mid-tone: Pale blue and light, rosy pink have been deemed the “colors of the year” by Pantone (the company that created the standardized color system designers use). And peach and aqua fall into this softer grouping to round out this group of colors that never seem to go out of style.
3. Neutral: Soft tones of grey and tan work as great base colors for the season, and white certainly isn’t going anywhere as a warm weather basic.
