Italian Cashmere Crewneck Sweater
Sold by: J.Crew

Fit Guide
Why is it a Find? A classic crewneck cashmere sweater is a basic that should be on a shelf in every gent’s closet. And that’s something we’ve always thought J.Crew does well. Their Italian cashmere yarn is consistently soft and durable, and that certainly holds true with this timeless style. This hazelnut color gives it – and your wardrobe - a fresh update as one of this season’s key neutrals of the season.
Wear it with: This color works with all your blue, grey, tan, dark brown and olive pants. And the classic silhouette dresses up or down with ease, so layer it over a t-shirt with jeans, or over a button-up with a sport coat for a day at the office.
Fit Tip: In J.Crew’s typically modern fit, go with your normal size for a comfortable, but not oversized fit. It is also available in tall sizes.
Alternatives: The plethora of options through the ‘shop it’ button really show off J.Crew’s commitment to the style and quality of this sweater. It's a great one to stockpile.

Fall’s Newest Hues: An Easy Wardrobe Refresh

Whether your style is on the more classic side, or you like to play with some new style trends, color updates are an easy way to modernize your look for the season. Love a timeless cashmere sweater? Add one in a fresh hazelnut brown. Looking for the right piece to get in on the military or athletic trend crossover? A new olive pair of jeans or burgundy sweater with sporty accents will give you an instant refresh.

So, let’s get into what colors are looking new and amazing this season.

Fire Tones: From burnt orange and rust to every shade of red and burgundy, the cozy colors of a roaring fire are so inviting this season. And that includes some pops of mustardy yellow, too.

Go Green: Continuing on the earthy toned inspirations, green works in anything from militarily inspired olive to perfectly jeweled tones reminiscent of rich green foliage.

Smokey & Smooth: Denim-inspired blues with grey undertones update the sky blues of summer and are the easiest way to wear new mid-tones in the colder weather. We also love stepping up with some more unexpected color in shades of pink and purple, too. Pink ranges from dusty to deep and rich, and purple completes the spectrum with pinkish undertones that really pop. There is no mistaking these for leftovers from your summer wardrobe - especially when they’re done in fine wools and chunky sweaters.

Neutrally New: Of course, black is always a part of our wardrobe, but it does feel new again - especially with all the textured fabrics that are prominent this season. Rich shades of mahogany brown have made a big comeback, and are an especially updated way to offset the more distinctive colors of the season that we’ve mentioned above. And don’t be afraid to lighten up your outfit with shades of grey, camel, and warm taupe. In soft wool, corduroy, and nubby fabrics, they are completely right for fall and winter.
