We always recommend a little refresh of some summer staples, like shorts, since you get so much wear out of them each year. This season, modern shorts are a bit longer and a bit narrower than the shorts of a few years ago. AG has done a versatile interpretation in a really soft cotton twill with a 9” inseam that hits just above the knee on most gents – the perfect length. The leg is slightly narrower than past years to make them look updated, but still completely comfortable and easy in a modern fit that is not too trim in the seat or thigh. The longer, leaner look really does create a clean, classic feel. The sage cliffs shade we’re showing is our favorite, but you can stock up with navy and tan through the ‘shop it’ button, as well. While a white or heather grey polo or t-shirt is easy, a cheery plaid shirt looks great, too.
