Spring Color Finds: Peaceful & Calm to Bold & Playful

Soft Shades.

Wear it with: The shade of pink, not too pale or too bold, easily works with all your pale neutrals – tan or white cotton twill pants and khakis – yet gives your year round dark wash jeans a warm weather feel. Wear it with: Don’t be afraid to layer up your linens. You can absolutely wear a navy or tan linen blazer over this shirt when you want to dress it up with flat front pants. On the weekend, pair it with your favorite broken-in jeans or shorts and play up the natural wrinkle of the linen.
Fit Tip: This is cut in J.Crew’s typically modern fit in Regular sizes XS-XL, but it also comes in Slim, so you can go with a trimmer fit if you prefer.

Why is it a Find? We are pretty obsessed with the playful attitude of this soft yellow polo from Psycho Bunny. Started 11 years ago by two designers from Ralph Lauren and Turnbull & Asser, Psycho Bunny adds a whimsical feel to classic menswear looks and has a strong emphasis on quality. The ultra-soft pima cotton and mother-of-pearl buttons make this an exceptional shirt, with a whole lot of style.
Wear it with: The shirt’s soft yellow color will coordinate with everything in your closet. Whether you pair it with pants or jeans, or shorts for a round of golf, there’s no doubt it will put a smile on your face when you put it on.

Why is it a Find? These are no ordinary shorts. Click through the ‘shop it’ button so you can really zoom in on the image. You’ll see the fabric is actually a very tight micro check pattern of lunar blue and white. Not only is that subtle design seriously good-looking, Bobby Jones has designed these shorts specifically with the golf course in mind. The polyester fabric is lightweight and moister wicking, so you’ll feel comfortable and look good for 18 or 36 holes.
Wear it with: This color looks great with white or grey, but we also like it with pale pink or yellow. On the golf course, a polo in any of those colors is easily appropriate, and on non-golf days, a button up shirt in those colors make these shorts street-wear appropriate.

The slightly higher v of the neckline gives it a modern attitude, and there is absolutely no beating the price. UNIQLO excels at well-priced knitwear and this is one of their best.
Wear it with: The medium grey color goes with most everything. Stylishly chic with summer whites and tans, and a perfect balance to bolder colors, like red or blue. It is a perfect layer for the office when paired with a solid or pattern button up shirt, and a no-brainer over a simple white t-shirt.
