Service Club's "Day on the Terrace" Fashion Show
The annual Service Club of Chicago's "Day on the Terrace" Fashion Show was a sellout again this year at the Peninsula. Fashion show chairs Jean Antoniou, Tracey Di Buono and event founder Hazel Barr planned another show stopping fashion extravaganza that included smashing runway looks from Escada, Luca Luca, Tory Burch, Starr Couture, Paul Stuart, Lulu's of the Belle Kay, Saks Fifth Avenue Men, Mark Shale Women's and Men's and the finale, an evening gown and fur collection from Neiman Marcus Michigan Avenue.
Members of the Service Club, one of the oldest philanthropic organizations in the city, modelled in the show as well as local celebrities who included Windy City Live's Valerie Warner (who brought her darling daughter and fashionista-in-training Zoe), Ryan Baker, Mary Ann Childers, Telemundo's Tsi-Tsi-Ki Felix, Stanley Paul and Chilli Pepper to name just a few.
All of the proceeds from this event will go the Service Club in their efforts towards supplementing grants established by government or corporate entities for various worthy organizations around town.
