1. The New Look of Denim. As we’ve talked about throughout the week, denim looks fresh and inspired in a lot of different silhouettes this season. We’ve talked about blazers, button down shirts, and trouser styles, earlier in the week. And today, we’re all about the dress. (And we're not the only ones all about this dress - sizes are going fast. Try Zappos if your size is already gone through the 'shop it' button.) Splendid uses soft drapey lyocell fabric to give this denim looking shirtdress the ease and comfort you’ll want to live in all weekend long. The dress is longer in the back – and longer on most of us than it appears on this model, hitting closer to the knee in the back and just above in the front – so you won’t have any embarrassing moments when you bend over to pick something up. The easy body has side pockets (always a plus) and can be given some instant shape with the simple addition of a skinny belt or a wider one like we’re showing at #10 in today’s list. It can be worn loose, too, especially if you’re taller. You can even add a pair of leggings and a turtleneck while the weather is still cold. Once spring hits, pair it with ankle boots, sneakers, flats, sandals – you can’t go wrong.

2. The White Revival. Whether white is the “in” color of the season or not, a pair of white jeans is basically a warm weather necessity. And if you enjoy your coffee and your red wine, these are the white jeans for you. They are made from Joe’s spotless fabric. We don’t know exactly how they do it, but can tell you we’ve tested it and it works – spills literally bead right up on these jeans and you’re back to pristine white in no time by just wiping with a cloth. Plus, they are super soft – you would never know they are treated with Joe’s special Nano technology. The fit is typical Joe’s – contemporary, but not too snug. Since they are white though, you may want to size up if you’re between sizes.

3. The ‘70’s Inspired Top. Nic+Zoe’s playful print is bold, yet versatile. It takes some of the best inspirations of the ‘70’s in its tunic style and burnt orange coloring without feeling at all like a throwback or overly fad-ish. The back of this top is longer than the front, and both are long enough to wear over simple black skinny pants, leggings, or jeans – leave it up to your day’s activities. The fit is relaxed, just like the style.

4. The Bold & The Beautiful. Graphic stripes and black and white color combinations are always in fashion, and are truly at the top of their game this season. Ralph Lauren launched the Polo line for Women this past fall, and the timeless Americana feel really shines through. If you haven’t tried the line yet, we’ve found most pieces to have a modern fit – in the line of J. Crew. This maxi dress has a higher neckline that is not only practical, but very slimming as it elongates the look of the dress. The a-line silhouette and substantial knit fabric skim the body so it is quite forgiving. Wear it with flat sandals or a great wedge.

5. The Fresh Color Story. The colors of the season are sweet without being super sweet, if you know what we mean. The soft colors, like this perfect periwinkle blue get punched up, so they don’t feel too pastel. And J.Crew has brought back their amazing linen knit fabric in a boatneck with a ¾ sleeve that is truly universally flattering. The linen is simply the perfect weight and texture, so it’s not too thin or clingy. And all the colors are amazing - click through the 'shop it' button to see them all. In J. Crew’s modern fit, it looks great with boyfriend jeans or cotton pants for any weekend day. It can even be layered under a blazer with white jeans for a casual Friday look.

6. The New Pants Silhouette. Level 99 is known for their wide leg silhouette – we used to carry them in our Mark Shale stores, and we’ve been fans ever since. This version is done in a linen blend that brilliantly has some stretch and tencel to it. What’s that mean? It means they don’t get stretched out and they have a nice drape to them – unlike products that are 100% linen. In regular and petitie, 24-33, the modern fit and mid-rise (they hit just below the belly button) looks great on most ladies and the wider waistband helps alleviate the dreaded muffin top. The blue we’re showing goes with everything, but they also come in a grassy green and pretty coral that are as fresh as the colors that inspires them.

7. The Bohemian Inspired Dress. Anthropologie always delivers on great prints in easy silhouettes, just like this Maeve dress. The colors in the print are a perfect blend for the season – petal pink, marsala red, and neutral black, white, and grey so you can wear any sandal or bootie with it. The wide ruched waistband is the perfect tummy concealer and the hip pockets are not only functional, but provide nice movement for the skirt so there isn’t any unwanted cling. In XS-XL, regular and petite, this is the casual dress that has a relaxed, free-spirited feel that looks effortlessly stylish…perfect for any weekend.

8. The New Shoe Height. Welcome back, espadrilles! It’s been a while, but we’ll be honest – we missed you. Like any good friend, we welcome the updates the new crop of espadrilles bring to the table. This one from Schutz is our favorite – some of us may be a little obsessed. It’s got everything going for it – a wearable 2 ½” wedge, which means you can actually walk around town after brunch when you have these on. And the saddle brown leather not only goes with everything, but is sturdy – not like fabric espadrilles used to be (remember how quickly they would stretch out?) The peep toe and ankle strap pair with pants or dresses of any length, and look just as cute with shorts. See? A favorite.

9. The Day to Night Bag. The great thing about this bag, well one of them, is that the contrasting strap can be adjusted by just reknotting the end – perfect for more petite ladies. This is a harder leather that gets better each and every time you wear it, as it continues to break in and play up the natural lines of the skin. The grey leather with a saddle tan leather strap is the perfect neutral spring combination that you’ll be able to wear until fall. The bag can be pulled closed or you can leave the drawstrings open. It has interior zip & open pockets, and is big enough to hold your tablet, too. It comes in black and a beautiful camel, too.

10. The Final Touch. Obi belts were all the rage on the runways this season. A really wearable way to interpret that trend is with a wide wrap belt in a soft leather. It’s much less “bathrobe” looking and a whole lot of flattering. We’ve always been big fans of wrap belts – they cinch the waist, and when they are wider like this one, they also helps conceal a little tummy bulge. They look great with shirtdresses, simple sheaths, and tunic style shirts over pants. Tip: If a dress comes with a fabric belt, it will usually look a lot more polished if you switch it out for a leather one.
