Why is it a Find? J. Crew blends a couple of great style trends in these cropped sailor jeans. And it’s all the elements that create the right way to wear a pair of jeans to work. The clean wash, nautical button detail, and flared hem are crisp and Spring-ready.
Wear it with: The trouser inspiration makes these jeans easy to pair with a button down and blazer, like we’re showing in this outfit, and can also add a fun finish to a simple white tee and sneakers. Play up the nautical fun with a striped top. 
Fit Tip: J. Crew’s modern fit is made for every lady. Available in sizes 23-32, as well as Petite and Tall, there is a size for everyone so no one has to worry about them being too short or long. The rise sits just around the the natural waist, which perfectly accents the buttons that slim the hips/lower belly area.
Alternatives: Work-right denim is all about a polished look. Unless you work in a truly casual environment, stay away from rips and boyfriend styles. The look we’re putting together here looks great with MOTHER’S timeless white, mid-rise cropped jeans, and even works with FRAME’s amazing fitting denim pencil skirt – the buttons make it so special and updated.

Why is it a Find? The shades of blue in this Vince popover top work with every shade of denim and add a tailored feel to the sailor jeans in this look.
Wear it with: When you’re not wearing this top in this outfit, it will look great with crisp white jeans or trousers, simple black pants, or even a pair of colorful capris or shorts. The shades of blue give it the same versatility as a great pair of jeans.

The Italian fabric is truly top notch, and through the ‘shop it’ button, you’ll see a crisper take on it at Nordstom. Either way, it’s got an easy fit with a relaxed silhouette. Alternatives: Joie’s floral silk shell will look just as professional under a blazer, with jeans, and it easily works under a classic black, tan, or white suit. If you won’t be pairing your look with a jacket or cardigan, Ann Taylor’s striped cinch waist button down (also in white) is a lovely alternative.

Why is it a Find? J. Crew’s linen blazer has a timeless style that simply makes it one of the best. Menswear inspired, but cut for a woman, it’s a staple you’ll reach for all Spring and Summer long.
Wear it with: As we’re showing in this outfit, we love this jacket to add a tailored and chic touch to jeans. Of course, the linen fabric also works with cotton or linen trousers so you’ll get plenty of use out of it – especially in this navy featured color that effortlessly ties in the shades of blue in this look.
Fit Tip: The single button closure works for every chest size, and since it’s made in sizes 000-16, Petites and Talls, it will fall just right in your normal size. It’s cut in J.Crew’s modern fit, and meant to just skim the body so it’s not oversized or sloppy. The length should hit just around the hip.
Alternatives: This jacket comes in white, as well as a couple of pop colors through the ‘shop it’ button, and they all work in this neutral look we’re putting together here. Since the Vince shirt above has a banded collar, Generation Love’s textured, roundneck ivory jacket is another alternative that will lend a feminine finish.

Why is it a Find? Yes, ladies, mules are back in a big way and these penny loafer slides from AGL are that oh-so appropriate alternative to sandals for the office, and when you just haven’t gotten around to that pedicure.
Wear it with: The tailored look of these slides pair beautifully with the cropped silhouette of the sailor jeans (above). And they work with full length pants and even slim skirts.
Fit Tip: The Italian leather and cushioned footbed are instantly comfortable in your normal size.
Alternatives: There are several versatile neutrals to choose from through the ‘shop it’ button, including black and pale silver. Add a little pop of color with Rebecca Minkoff’s cherry suede version. Or really play up the denim trend of the season by pairing this look with kate spade new york’s denim loafers. Denim-and-denim definitely works this season. If you’re unsure, just make sure the denim shades don’t match exactly.

Laid Back Look.
Why is it a Find? Ladies, have you heard about Madewell’s new line of “Magic Pocket” jeans? The magic is all in the front pockets. They are reinforced with an extra layer that is comfortably stretchy, while also incredibly smoothing and slimming. Seriously, belly bump be gone. And they hold you in without feeling constricting. Try them. This relaxed wash has just the right amount of distressing that works perfectly with the raw hem.
Wear it with: We’re showing these jeans with a cute tank and chic jacket for an easy weekend look. They can also take on a sexy feel with a silky top and killer heels or sandals. The slimming technology will probably make you want to tuck your top in, so go ahead.
Fit Tip: Well, these jeans are pretty much all about the fit. The fact that they are cute is the ideal bonus. The 9” rise is a bit higher, but not too high, sitting at/below the belly button. And that helps maximize the “Magic Pockets” technology, while also giving an elongating balance to the cropped leg length. Don’t worry – Madewell hasn’t forgotten the view from behind. The back pocket placement is just right for the rise, keeping things look perky and balanced. The raw hem is not only modern, it’s also practical. Available in sizes 24-32, go with your normal size and if you want to shorten them, you can cut them with sharp scissors yourself and then throw them in the wash (cold) to get the frayed finish back.
Alternatives: Jeans and casual days go hand-in-hand, so we have a few favorites. The featured style is going fast at Nordstrom, so you can also find it on Madewell's own site.  AG’s Stevie has a mid-rise and released raw hem that is available in Regular and Petite lengths, so the fading around the hem won’t be lost on anyone. Joe’s skinny jeans have a higher rise that with a frayed cuff that is cut an angle, giving them a more polished and deliberately stylish feel. And if you are looking for that frayed detail in a different way, AG’s beloved Ex-Boyfriend jeans have just the right amount of scuffed up finish to their perfectly broken-in wash.

Why is it a Find? An easy tank top doesn’t have to be boring. The ruffle details down the side and along the hem add just the right amount of feminine flare without being overly girly.
Wear it with: The little bit of ladylike detail creates a nice balance to the rugged ripped and raw finish of the jeans in this look (left). And it’s just as pretty with a colorful pair of pants or shorts.
Fit Tip: In XXS-XL, the soft fabric will skim the body and finish just around the hip in your normal size. If you are between sizes, you can size up.
Alternatives: This tank comes in soft pink and grey through the ‘shop it’ button, too. Alternatively, Wilt makes some of the absolute best slouchy tees around. They are cut with the perfect drape that not only give them an ideally laid back vibe, they are immensely flattering with a loose fit that’s not seriously oversized – just seriously cool. So, if you are looking for a tee with long sleeves, Wilt’s slouchy tunic has a split, asymmetrical hem and Wilt’s short sleeve tee has an equally interesting crossover hem – both perfect with slim jeans, like we’re showing here.

Why is it a Find? Saks Fifth Avenue is exclusively carrying a new line called Scripted and this amazing military peplum jacket is a must-have. The modern sophistication of this label shines through in the stylish peplum hem and flared sleeves, giving new – and womanly life – to a timeless army jacket.
Wear it with: The light weight of the stretch cotton can easily be worn as your warm weather jacket, AND as a finishing touch to your outfit. In this look, the mix of feminine and masculine is a chic layer to the soft ruffles of the tank top and the rough edges of the jeans.
Fit Tip: The contemporary fit runs true to size, in XS-L, with some stretch in the soft cotton for comfort and easy layering.
Alternatives: Alternatively, Splendid’s draped open cardigan is made of a super soft thermal textured cotton blend that is an easy throw-on with any casual jeans look.

Why is it a Find? You can never go wrong with a pair of espadrilles. These tomato red ones from iconic Italian espadrille designer, Castaner, add just the right amount of color to any outfit. What makes them a true Find is the wedge height. At 2 ½” they are just right. Many wedge espadrilles are 3”+ - and for most ladies, that means driving and sitting, not walking and having fun. Casual shoes should be comfortable for walking through markets and down sunny streets – these espadrilles will let you do just that, and still look cute.
Wear it with: The wedge is high enough to wear with a sundress, but not too high so you can wear them with shorts, too. And, of course, we love them with jeans and a white tank, as we’re showing here, to add just the right pop of color. The cropped length of the jeans show off the lace up detail of these timeless espadrilles.

Alternatives: A signature style of the Cataner brand, they are great in neutral ivory, too. These denim wedge espadrilles from Soludos have the same look, with a bit more wedge height, and are a great way to add denim into your casual day look. (And yes, you can wear them with jeans that are in a blue wash, too.) Vince’s sneaker/espadrilles hybrid are a ladylike sneaker replacement that you can run errands in all day long.

Night Out Look.
Why is it a Find? The Parker Smith denim line launched a few years ago, determined to create a fit for the real woman that still had a contemporary look and awesome denim fabrics. They’ve been getting a lot of buzz (check out the reviews through the ‘shop it’ button), and we completely agree with the compliments. These timelessly versatile skinnies, the Bombshell, are one of their best selling silhouettes and the perfect place to get into the brand. The price is completely reasonable, though the super soft stretchy fabric and just right fit is priceless.
Wear it with: A pair of dark, clean wash skinnies go with everything, day to night, office to dinner. These jeans will quickly become your go-to’s. Ideal to pair with a flowy blouse, as we’re showing in this look, they are a blank slate for tailored work tops and blazers or comfy tees and sneakers or sandals for weekend brunch. For a night out, we love them with your sexiest shoes, though you can see in this image, they also look great with tailored shoes.
Fit Tip: The most important part of your jeans purchase, these won’t disappoint in the fit department. The higher waist elongates the skinny leg – trust us – and draws the eye to the smallest part of your torso, which is seriously slimming and much more flattering than a low rise for this very reason. The stretch denim really tucks things in, so you’ll feel smoothed out and won’t have muffin top or love handles. And the pockets are placed to ensure you won’t have an elongated look from behind. This is a contemporary brand, but the fit isn’t too skinny, so go with your normal jeans size – available in sizes 24-32.
Alternatives: GOLDSIGN’s truly contemporary-fitting, pull-on jeggings are as comfortable as your favorite leggings in an even, dark wash, stretch denim. We couldn’t keep the original version in stock when we carried them in our retail stores…and this one is a wonderful update, with a higher rise and zip ankle detail. They come in black, too. Alternatively, Nic+Zoe’s modern-fitting light indigo skinny jeans are made of the most interesting knit denim fabric – so much stretch and give, you’ll barely remember they look like jeans.

Why is it a Find? There is a lot of subtle detail to this pretty floral Free People blouse that give you plenty of equally lovely ways to wear it. The drape and ease makes it a comfortable option, while the snap front detail and belting option give it just the right amount of feminine allure to pair with skinny jeans (left) for a confidence-building night out look.
Wear it with: The fluid silhouette is just made for a skinny bottoms, like the jeans we’re showing here. You can style this blouse as shown, or replace the sash for a wide leather belt to stylishly show off your waist. You can also tuck the blouse in to flared pants or a pencil skirt and use the sash as a skinny scarf – click through the ‘shop it’ button and click on the “Black” color to check that out. Basically, you can make it as fashionable or classic as you like.
Fit Tip: As with most Free People pieces, the contemporary styling has an easy, loose fit, so go with your normal size, XS-L. If you are often between sizes, you can size down.
Alternatives: We love the soft pink featured, and it comes in an equally pretty black/blue color combination through the ‘shop it’ button, too. Ella Moss’ embroidered peasant tunic uses a similar pink in a flowing top with a shorter length that needs no styling at all. Alternatively, Theory’s sophisticated take on off-the-shoulder – in both a silky black fabric and crisp white or blue cotton – allows you to show off your collar bones without having to wear your blouse truly off your shoulders. And they all look great with simple skinny jeans for a night out.

Why is it a Find? Denim-on-denim is very popular this season, and adding an additional piece of denim in your accessories is a great way to embrace the trend without feeling like an urban cowboy. Rebecca Minkoff’s best selling clutch is just the right way to do it.
Wear it with: This bag seriously goes with most everything. It is a great night-out bag, and the denim makes it easy to wear during the day, too. Like your favorite jeans, this bag goes with both color and neutrals – and denim, too, as we’re showing in this look.
Fit Tip: It has a slim envelope shape, which you can see through the ‘shop it’ button. Yet, it is still large enough to easily hold your phone, money, keys, and some essentials. Shopbop has an accurate alternate image to give you perspective on the size.

Why is it a Find? We’ve talked about the prominence of chokers this season, and Jules Smith’s layered version has the sophisticated, yet playful, look that feels just right for the Mark Shale lady. You can get it on the trend without breaking the bank, but the quality will easily hold up to plenty of wears.
Wear it with: This choker is a lovely finish to the open neckline of the Free People blouse in this outfit, and will look just as good with your v-neck and shoulder baring tops this season.
