Thanks for the Memories

Since we relaunched Mark Shale as an online shopping advice site in 2014, we’ve been overwhelmed by the support and enthusiasm from all of you, our Mark Shale friends. As has been our goal since we opened our first store in 1929, we have always wanted to make shopping an easy and enjoyable experience.
As shopping has evolved, how you’ve shopped has changed, so we did, too . From being one of the first stores to display products for customers to actually touch (in a rarely seen air conditioned store), to offering a beautiful catalog shopping experience that evolved into a robust ecommerce website, we’ve always been thinking of ways to make shopping together easy and fun. And it has been our greatest pleasure to serve you, shop with you, and call many of you our friends.
While we have made the difficult decision to stop updating for the Fall season, we never say goodbye - we’ll just say, “See you later. It’s been so much fun.”
