Most mornings, we want to be able to put together an outfit quickly and look, well, pulled together, right? So, this week, we’re focusing on two of the biggest silhouettes of the season: shirtdresses & jumpsuits. They make summer dressing a breeze.
We’ve always adored a good shirtdress. They are timeless. Once you have one in your wardrobe, you can go back to it year after year. This season, they are stronger than ever, with options that range from versions to show off your arms (or conceal them) to versions that show off your waist (or conceal it) - all in varying materials to fit your lifestyle.
Jumpsuits are everywhere, too. There’s no avoiding it, but why should we? Let’s embrace it! This style has evolved so much since it first became popular in the '70's. If you’re thinking you don’t have the body-type to pull one off, think again. You don’t have to channel your inner Disco Diva to find one you love. There are so many versions out there; there is something for everyone, and every occasion.

The beautiful soft floral pattern of the faux wrap blouse combined with the contrast side-buckle pleated short is an absolutely gorgeous combination for a night out. This versatile shirtdress from Vince has a lined drawstring waist skirt, giving it a bit more substance and practicality. We recommend this blue color - it’s not too dark, and not too bright. If you choose the white though, please note that the fabric is not lined on top, and is a bit sheer. However, the chest pockets are strategically placed to help with that. We do suggest wearing a nude slip for work.

If you're a traditionalist, you'll adore this DVF shirtdress in classic white.
