Over the top girly and flowery is generally not our style. But florals this season have taken on a level of sophistication that we just can’t ignore. And we will continue to see florals into the fall season, so many pieces will easily transition into your cooler weather wardrobe. Florals can be muted and soft to bigger and bolder. They can even mix-and-match with other patterns, if you feel a little more daring. No matter how you choose to incorporate them, florals work to create a refined and lady-like look that you will be proud to wear…no wallflowers here.

Before you dismiss these as too impractical, let us convince you…do you have a lot of solids in your closet – solid navy tees, sweaters, skirts, or blazers? Jeans and basic white, grey, and black tees? These will work beautifully with all of them, adding sophisticated style to an otherwise basic outfit. We can’t decide if we like the navy (shown) or the white (click through the “shop it” button to see) better. It’s the simple floral pattern we love.
