Clothes & Conversation: Women's Fashion Tips
Classic High-Low Cardigan
Sold by: Anthropologie

Fit Guide
Why is it a Find? This shade of pink is simply perfection. Rich and deep, with a bluish undertone that works with most every skintone, it is truly seasonless – and a hot color for the season ahead. Anthropologie doesn’t disappoint in the silhouette department either, with an easy and open silhouette that is longer in the back, so it can be worn with any bottom. The chunky cotton knit is completely versatile and brushed for serious softness. Ladies, take note - this super soft finish does mean a little shedding upon initial wear. You can throw it in the hand wash cycle of your washing machine or give it a good roll with your lint brush to avoid it.
Wear it with: Now: This cardigan is the right pop of color for any outfit. A long sleeve tee and your favorite jeans and boots, or over a slim black turtleneck and black trousers for a more tailored look, this cardigan will carry you to the next season in style.
Later: Faded jeans and a tank top or all white (as shown), this cheery color pop is perfect for Spring weather and any chilly Summer evening.
Fit Tip: Anthropologie often carries styles in a modern fit and this sweater is cut for ease in your normal size. From XXS-XL and Petite, too, go with your normal size.
Alternatives: With pink being such a big color for Spring, Banana Republic’s pink tweed blazer or dress are equally beautiful shades of medium pink that you can start wearing right away. If pink’s not your thing, the featured cardigan comes in a gorgeous pale aqua and versatile white through the ‘shop it’ button, too.

How To Add Fresh Spring Style To Your Current Season Wardrobe & Keep Wearing It Later

The end of one season and beginning of the next is always such a tricky dressing time- you are ready for something new, but the weather usually isn't. So while you begin to daydream of Spring, what are some great pieces you can buy for the upcoming warmer weather that you can actually start wearing now?

During these transitional times of year, there are a couple of guidelines we usually adhere to:
* Layer. There's no reason to pass on a beautiful sleeveless dress or blouse in a light, breezy fabric. Adding a blazer or even a chunky wool/cashmere sweater will give you the warmth you need and ground a new Spring piece to look stylishly appropriate for the current time of year.
* Add color. For Spring, there will be a lot of whites, yellows, pinks, blues, and greens. And they look great with your go-to Winter neutrals - black, greys, navys, and olives. So that top in a new pop color will look great with core, year-round pieces - timeless pants, your favorite pencil skirt, jeans, and leggings.
* Invest in versatile fabrics and silhouettes. This is also the perfect time of year to update the basics. Your black pair of pants in year round wool or ponte (a denser rayon fabric blend that uses stretch and is tightly woven to hold its shape) may need replacing or a little style update. Same goes for adding a new pair of jeans or leggings to your arsenal. Even a pair of ankle booties can transition to Spring with a cute dress or your jeans and a tee. Those are all essentials that you can wear in the often messy, slushy Winter weather. And they’ll have new life once the sun is shining.
